Zillow.com Information
The graphs and maps below were taken from Zillow.com. The graph below shows values over the past 10 years for the City of Sarasota, and the value of our home since it was constructed in 2002. Values rose very rapidly, then dropped back to lower values, although still substantially above the values in 2000 and 2002. Zillow also indicated that our home sold for $199,000 in 2002 when it and most of the homes in the development were new.

The Zillow map below shows our home and the homes nearby. Zillow values our home at $265,000, and the homes nearby have similar values.
The Chart below was taken from Zillow.com. It illustrates the values of the subdivision. The homes were sold for about $200,000 each in 2002. Our home was sold for $365,000 in May 2006. Sales of homes went up to about $440,000 before the crash. The value of the homes in the subdivision have now declined to about $265,000.
